Online Courses

The KU Anthropology Department offers a number of online and distance learning courses. These courses are conducted primarily online, with supplementary course materials. With no cost to the quality of education, online and distance learning courses are often flexible, self-paced, and convenient.

Available online Anthropology classes include:

  • ANTH 308 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (4 credit hours)
  • ANTH 502 - Topics in Linguistic Anthropology: Language and the Internet (3 credit hours)
